Warranty Period: For one year from original ship date (includes the U.S. continental 48 states).Included: Freeze Dryers, Premier oil vacuum pumps, and oil-free vacuum pumps.
Harvest Right will be responsible for: Repair or, at our option, replacement of any part of this freeze dryer and/or vacuum pump which proves to be defective in workmanship or material.
Consumer will be responsible for replacement parts caused by consumer misuse and neglect of product. See Normal Responsibilities of the Consumer below.

Limited Warranty, Years Two and Three
Warranty Period: For years two and three from the original ship date (includes the U.S. continental 48 states).
Included: Compressor, Condenser, and Evaporator.
Harvest Right will be responsible for: Repair or, at our option, replace any part of the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator, tubing) which fails because of defective workmanship or material.
Consumer will be responsible for: Diagnostic charges for determining defects, and any costs for transportation and delivery of the appliance required because of service.

What's the difference between this Large model and the stainless steel Large model? +

The main difference is the exterior construction. This powder-coated Large model has a durable powder-coated steel body with stainless steel trays, while the stainless steel Large model features a full stainless steel exterior for enhanced durability and easier cleaning. Both have identical capacity (18-27 lbs), dimensions, and functionality with the same 6 stainless steel trays.

How much food can the Harvest Right Large Pro freeze dryer process at once? +

The Large Pro can handle 18-27 lbs of fresh food per batch across its six stainless steel trays (each measuring 9" x 20.5" x 0.75"). This yields approximately 4-6 gallons of freeze-dried food per cycle, making it perfect for large families or bulk processing.

Who should consider the Large Pro over the Medium or Small models? +

The Large Pro is ideal for large families or groups needing substantial batch capacities. If you regularly preserve garden harvests, bulk grocery purchases, or want to minimize the number of freeze-drying cycles, the 27-pound capacity makes it significantly more efficient than the Medium model (10-15 lbs) or Small model (6-9 lbs).

What are the space and power requirements for the Large Pro? +

Extension cords are not recommended by Harvest Right as it may cause issues while the machine is running.

The optional oil-free pump upgrade ($1,995) eliminates all oil changes and maintenance requirements for completely hands-off operation. While it runs slightly louder than the included Premier pump, it's worth considering if you plan to use the freeze dryer frequently and want zero maintenance.

What's covered under the 3-year warranty? +

Year 1 covers full warranty on the freeze dryer, Premier pump, and oil-free pump for defective workmanship or materials. Years 2-3 provide limited warranty on the sealed refrigeration system (compressor, condenser, evaporator). Consumer handles diagnostic costs and transportation after year 1.

Well creighted and great checkout and great team

The trimleaf team had issues with send the tracking file, however the team kept me informed throughout, they sent an adapter for 20amp plug to 15amp, but the unit is large and be prepared for your delivery!263lbs big it’s more than a one person job, extremely satisfied with trimleaf

My Harvest Right

I purchased my HR large FD on May 24th 2025, I received it on June 16 2025.

I had a chance to do the initial " test bread run" then excitedly ran my 1st official batch of freeze dried strawberries which were amazing.
The entire process was extremely loud and constant clicking from machine.
My next batch supposed to be some herbs,, however the machine doesn't work.
The compressor will not engage and since it the weekend no response.
Ive come to find out that there is absolutely no support for Canadian customers at all.

Im now $6400.00 cdn lighter in my pocket book and have a machine that gave me 1 big jar of strawberries and it looks likely that ill need to wait another couple months to sort this out, and since warranty is consider from date of purchase not time it actually works, were double done.

Im not the most educated dude but pretty sure i couldve just bought some FD berries at the market for less then $ 6400.00 Cdn

Albert himself has been fantastic, but his hands are pretty much tied.

So my review " thus far" of harvest right is 0 stars.
Canadian buyers beware, if you get a faulty machine, you have no recourse or options to have it fixed here.

Prepping with my own food.

My intent in getting a Freeze Dryer was to make my own Freeze Dried meals for long term. I knew I would never eat the products on the market, and realized if I didn’t make my own meals…. I would starve!! So this has given me the ability to go full steam ahead making my own home cooked meals and freeze drying them should the need come for food storage to be my source of food. I am feeling much more relaxed about this area of my concerns now. Also I can make awesome candy for my grandkids!!!
