Who This Is For

  • You are integrating a high-capacity system because your current source water TDS levels are forcing constant nutrient lockout
  • You are scaling up your facility footprint because your existing water filtration cannot keep pace with daily irrigation needs

What We Found

  • The AX-8000 controller is the real winner here because it tracks temperature and TDS in real time instead of guessing
  • We tell operators that having the Grundfos pump already integrated on the frame saves a full day of plumbing labor

What Users Say

  • Facilities that added this system report they stopped seeing crusty buildup on their irrigation emitters and lines
  • Commercial operators say the automated flush cycles saved them from having to monitor the system during weekends

Axeon N-2000 Reverse Osmosis System | 220V 2,000 GPD

Municipal tap water loaded with dissolved solids is one of the fastest ways to compromise a large-scale grow operation. The Axeon N-2000 eliminates that variable with a 2,000 GPD (1.39 GPM) reverse osmosis system rated for up to 98.5% TDS rejection — pre-plumbed, pre-wired, and factory-tested so it's operational the day it arrives. Part of the AXEON N-Series platform scaling from 2,000 to 16,000 gallons per day (which can be shielded using an N-Series protective cover), the N-2000 is built specifically for commercial indoor grow facilities running 220V single-phase power.

At the core is the AX-8000 Computer Controller — an LCD-backlit automation hub that monitors TDS and water temperature in real time, triggers pre-treatment lockout when feed conditions fall out of spec, runs automated feed flush and manual flush cycles, and raises low/high pressure alarms before small problems cause downtime. The system ships with a Grundfos multi-stage stainless steel booster pump, AXEON XE1-Series membrane elements and FRP membrane housings, Pentair Big Grey pre-filter housings, integrated permeate and concentrate flow meters, panel-mounted glycerin-filled gauges, and a normally closed composite feed solenoid valve — every component installed, plumbed, and tested before it leaves the factory.

⚠ Feed Water Note: The Axeon N-2000 requires dechlorinated feed water. Maximum free chlorine is 0 ppm. Municipal water users must include a carbon pre-treatment stage upstream of this system, and facilities with high mineral content may benefit from using Axeon S–200 Membrane Antiscalant to prevent scaling.

Features

🖥️
AX-8000 Computer Controller

LCD backlit interface with real-time TDS and temperature monitoring, pre-treatment lockout, automated feed flush, manual flush, tank level input, and low/high pressure alarms.

Pre-Plumbed, Wired & Assembled

Arrives fully integrated on its powder-coated aluminum frame — no field assembly required. Every N-2000 is individually tested before shipment for verified out-of-box performance.

💧
2,000 GPD / 98.5% TDS Rejection

Delivers 2,000 gallons per day at a nominal 98.5% TDS rejection rate — rated for feed water up to 2,000 ppm TDS and operating pressures up to 200 psi.

🔩
Grundfos Multi-Stage Booster Pump

A 1.5 HP stainless steel Grundfos multi-stage pump running at 3,480 RPM maintains consistent feed pressure through the membrane, sustaining rated output over continuous commercial operation.

📊
Integrated Flow Meters & Gauges

Includes permeate, concentrate, and concentrate recycle flow meters — each with integrated stainless steel needle valves — plus panel-mounted glycerin-filled gauges rated to 100 psi and 300 psi.

🏭
Assembled in the U.S.A.

Built using name-brand components: Pentair Big Grey filter housings, Parker/Seatech quick-connect fittings, AXEON XE1-Series membrane elements, and AXEON FRP membrane housings — assembled and tested domestically.

Support & Manuals

FAQs

Does the N-2000 require dechlorinated water, and how do I set that up?+

Yes — the N-2000's RO membranes have a maximum free chlorine tolerance of 0 ppm, meaning chlorinated municipal tap water will degrade the membrane elements if fed directly into the system. A carbon block or catalytic carbon pre-filter stage, such as the Axeon Carbon 1252 Water Filtration System, must be installed upstream to dechlorinate the feed water before it reaches the N-2000. This is a standard requirement for all thin-film composite RO membranes, including the AXEON XE1-Series.

What does the AX-8000 Controller actually do?+

The AX-8000 is the N-2000's built-in automation and monitoring hub. It displays real-time TDS and temperature readings on its LCD backlit screen, triggers pre-treatment lockout when feed water conditions fall outside safe operating parameters, and manages automated feed flush and manual flush cycles to keep the membranes clean. It also monitors low and high pressure conditions, raises alarms before damage occurs, and accepts a tank level input signal so the system can stop production automatically when a connected storage tank is full.

Does the N-2000 require professional installation?+

The N-2000 ships pre-plumbed, pre-wired, and fully assembled — connections are limited to feed water (1" FNPT), permeate out (½" QC), concentrate drain (½" QC), and a 220V single-phase power supply at 8.5A. Because it runs on 220V, a licensed electrician should confirm your panel can support the circuit. No plumbing fabrication or component assembly is required on-site.

How often do the membrane and pre-filter need to be replaced?+

The 5-micron AXEON SDF-Series sediment pre-filter should be inspected monthly and typically replaced every 3–6 months depending on source water quality. The XE1-Series membrane element generally lasts 2–3 years under normal commercial use. The AX-8000's real-time TDS monitoring makes it straightforward to spot membrane performance degradation — a rising permeate TDS reading is the key indicator that replacement is due.

What feed water pressure does the N-2000 need?+

The N-2000 requires a minimum feed pressure of 45 psi and a maximum of 85 psi. The integrated Grundfos booster pump then elevates operating pressure up to the system's 200 psi maximum to drive water through the membrane at rated output. If your facility's supply pressure is below 45 psi, a separate feed booster pump will be required upstream.

Can the N-2000 feed directly into a reservoir, or does it need a storage tank?+

The N-2000 includes a Tank Level Input on the AX-8000 controller, designed to accept a signal from a float switch or sensor from a storage tank so the system shuts off when capacity is reached. A storage tank setup is the recommended approach at commercial scale — it buffers production output, ensures consistent pressure to downstream irrigation systems, and prevents the pump from cycling unnecessarily. Direct reservoir feed is possible but should be evaluated against your facility's daily water demand versus the system's 1.39 GPM output rate.

Is the N-2000 available in larger capacities?+

Yes — the AXEON N-Series scales from 2,000 up to 16,000 GPD across six models: the N-2000, N-4000, N-6000, N-8000, N-12000, and N-16000, all running on 220V single-phase power with the same AX-8000 controller platform. The N-4000 through N-16000 models step up to an 11.0A draw and larger physical footprints, so factor in your electrical and floor space capacity when planning a future upgrade.
