Trying hydroponics for the first time shouldn't mean building a multi-site system before you know how one plant responds. The Vivosun 5 Gallon DWC Hydroponic Bucket System gives you a complete one-plant setup. It pairs deep water culture with a recirculating top-feed drip ring in a single 5-gallon bucket, powered by a quiet 7 L/min air pump that runs under 40 dB.
The one air pump does two jobs. One air line feeds a ball air stone at the bottom of the bucket to oxygenate the nutrient solution around the roots. The second line drives the drip ring through the water inlet tube, lifting solution up and spraying it over the clay pebbles so young roots stay moist before they reach the reservoir. Inline check valves prevent backflow toward the pump. The pump's +/− knob lets you dial in more bubbles or more drip as your plant grows.
The 8″ grooved net basket holds the included ceramsite clay pebbles, which support the plant and keep air moving around the upper roots. A floating red ball in the blue water level tube shows when it's time to top up. At 13.4″ wide and 15.7″ tall, the Vivosun single bucket kit fits easily in a grow tent, greenhouse, balcony, or garden. It suits fruits, vegetables, flowers, and other crops started from rooted seedlings or cuttings.
