HLG Telos Growcast Installation Guide

The Growcast features a plug-and-play design that connects directly to your grow light's existing dimming port. Most grow lights can power the Growcast via their built-in 12V supply, while others may require the included USB-C cable for external power.

The controller comes with an RJ11 adapter for traditional dimming ports and features a native M12 push-lock connector for newer lighting designs. Additional adapters are available for non-standard connectors from specific manufacturers.

Mount the Growcast using the included magnetic steel mounting plate with adhesive backing, or attach directly to magnetic surfaces using the integrated permanent magnet. The compact 32mm x 32mm form factor fits easily beside most lighting fixtures.

Telos Growcast App Setup & Controls

Download the Telos Mesh app for Android or iOS to access full wireless control capabilities. The app allows you to create private networks, scan for compatible lights, and set precise PPF output levels using an intuitive scroll bar interface.

Create custom lighting schedules with specific on/off times and optional sunrise/sunset transitions. The schedule feature eliminates the need for mechanical timers and contactors, providing automated control for different growth cycles.

The Growcast also features manual touch sensor control with a color-coded status LED system. Press the touch sensor to cycle through preset light output settings: Green (Standby), Yellow (25%), Orange (50%), Deep Orange (75%), Red (100%). Blue indicates Bluetooth mode, while Purple activates Network Lock for enhanced privacy.

This Telos product is backed by a 2-year manufacturer's warranty that covers defects in manufacturing or workmanship from the date of purchase. If a defect is found during the warranty period, Telos will repair the product free of charge or provide a replacement if repair is not feasible. This warranty does not cover damage from abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, incorrect installation, or use with non-compatible lighting fixtures.
