FAQs
How often should I replace the Charco Plus filter?
The Charco Plus 8'' x 20'' filter is designed for long-lasting performance, typically providing effective odor control for up to 18 months of continuous use.
What size fan is compatible with this filter?
This filter comes with an 8-inch flange, making it perfectly compatible with any 8-inch inline fan or ducting. Ensure your fan's CFM rating matches the filter's 548 CFM for optimal performance.
Does this filter come with a pre-filter?
Yes, every Charco Plus filter includes a washable pre-filter. The pre-filter helps capture larger particles like dust and hair, extending the life of the activated carbon inside.
What makes virgin activated carbon better?
Virgin activated carbon is the highest quality because it's created from raw materials and has not been recycled. This results in a more porous structure with a greater surface area, allowing it to adsorb more odor molecules. For more tips, check out our complete grow room setup guide.
I have a different size space. Do you offer other sizes?
Yes! The Charco Plus series is available in various sizes to fit any setup, from the compact 4'' x 8'' filter for small tents to the massive 14'' x 49'' filter for large commercial operations.
