Drip Hydro Base B | 0-4-4

A two-part base system only works if both halves are engineered to complement each other, and Drip Hydro Base B 0-4-4 is built as the phosphorus-and-potassium counterpart to Drip Hydro Base A. As part two of the simple, highly-concentrated two-part base formula, Base B is designed for use throughout both the vegetative and flowering stages of any fruit or flower-producing plant, and is available in Quart, Gallon, and 5 Gallon sizes.

Base B is formulated with a 0-4-4 N-P-K. The higher phosphorus concentration plays a key role in root growth, flower site development, and blooming—a process that can be further enhanced by incorporating Drip Hydro Flex PK Booster during the late flowering phase. The matching potassium concentration supports overall plant health and vigor, strengthening disease resistance and assisting the movement of nutrients. To ensure a complete micronutrient profile, Base B also delivers boron, iron, manganese, and zinc, though growers may also add Drip Hydro Cal Mag if their water source requires additional minerals.

The phosphorus and potassium in Base B come from monopotassium phosphate and dipotassium phosphate — the latter a more expensive, harder-to-source compound. Using both allows Base B to deliver equivalent amounts of phosphorus and potassium without relying on potassium chloride. This balanced ratio helps produce less stretching and tighter internodal spacing.
