Who This Is For

  • Drainage puddles form at the head of your run because your initial tray setup doesnt anchor the water flow properly.
  • Cleanup between cycles takes twice as long because deep ridges in your current trays trap debris and organic matter.
  • You lose usable canopy space because bulky tray lips force you to move plants further away from the bench edge.

What We Found

  • Dont skip the Staal Plast glue because the interlocking joints only become truly leak-proof once they are fused.
  • The flat lip design is great for side-by-side benches since you wont have a gap catching runoff between rows.
  • We noticed the shallow grooves make scrubbing much faster than the older models with deep, square-cut channels.

What Users Say

  • Facilities building 60 foot runs report that these trays stay perfectly aligned without bowing under heavy plant loads.
  • Commercial operators tell us the low 2.5 inch height gave them just enough clearance to add an extra light layer.

Active Aqua 2.0 Infinity Tray - 5' x 6.5' End Tray w/ Drain

Every 2.0 Infinity Tray run starts in the same place — and the End Tray w/Drain is where it begins. As the required first component in every Infinity Tray installation, this 5' × 6.5' tray establishes the drain end of the bench run and anchors the system's water management from the outset. Built from UV-stable High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) and proudly made in the USA, it interlocks with up to seven Middle Trays, one Division Tray, and one End Tray to form a single continuous grow surface up to 65' in length. Staal Plast Polystyrene glue (STP3010, sold separately) seals each joint permanently for a leak-free installation that holds up through years of continuous production use — and remains 100% recyclable at end of life.

The low-profile 2.5" height and no-arch-lip design maximize usable inner tray space, while shallow internal grooves simplify cleaning between cycles without trapping debris. The 5' width is compatible with Active Aqua IZON Rolling Bench Systems, the Active Aqua 4'x8' Rolling Bench (AARBK48) with an optional trellis support kit, IGE benches, and most standard 5'-wide commercial rolling benches; these setups are often paired with an Active Aqua 55 gallon drum for nutrient reservoir storage. Because the End Tray w/Drain is a required single-quantity component in every run regardless of length, it's the logical first purchase when building out a new Infinity Tray installation — pair it with the appropriate number of Middle Trays, one Division Tray, and one End Tray to complete your bench configuration.

Features

🚿
Integrated Drain End

Required first component in every Infinity Tray run — establishes the drain end of the bench configuration and anchors the system's water management from the outset of installation.

📐
Expandable to 65'

Pairs with up to seven Middle Trays, one Division Tray, and one End Tray to build a continuous sealed grow surface up to 65' in length — scalable to match any commercial bench layout.

🇺🇸
Made in the USA

Proudly manufactured in the USA from premium UV-stable High Impact Polystyrene — a reusable thermoplastic that maintains structural integrity through years of continuous use and remains 100% recyclable.

🔒
Permanent Joint Sealing

Staal Plast Polystyrene glue (STP3010, sold separately) seals each tray joint permanently — creating a continuous, leak-free grow surface across the full length of the bench run.

📏
Low-Profile 2.5" Height

At just 2.5" tall with no arch lip, the tray maximizes inner growing space and keeps the overall bench-plus-tray profile low — important for rooms where ceiling clearance or canopy height is a priority.

Broad Bench Compatibility

Compatible with Active Aqua IZON Rolling Bench Systems, the Active Aqua 4'x8' Rolling Bench (AARBK48) with an optional trellis support kit, IGE benches, and most standard 5'-wide commercial rolling benches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does every Infinity Tray run require the End Tray w/Drain specifically? +

The End Tray w/Drain is the only component in the Infinity Tray system with an integrated drain outlet — it must be positioned first in the run to establish where nutrient solution exits the tray system after each irrigation cycle. Without it, there's no drainage point and the system cannot function as intended. Every run requires exactly one End Tray w/Drain regardless of total length.

What other components do I need to complete a full Infinity Tray run? +

A complete run requires the End Tray w/Drain (this listing) as the first component, followed by one to seven Middle Trays, then one Division Tray, and finally one End Tray at the opposite end. All four component types are available separately on this site in both 4' and 5' widths. The minimum run uses one Middle Tray alongside the three required single-quantity components.

What glue is required to seal the tray joints, and is it included? +

Staal Plast Polystyrene glue (item STP3010) is the required adhesive and is sold separately. It is applied with a caulk gun into the 3–5 mm gap between tray connections and must cure for 48–72 hours at 68°F before the trays are put into service. Full gluing instructions are included in the installation guide linked above — wearing breathing protection, goggles, and gloves during the gluing process is required.

What rolling benches are compatible with the 5' Infinity Tray? +

The 5' Infinity Tray series is compatible with Active Aqua IZON Rolling Bench Systems (AAB51001, AAB52002), the Active Aqua 4'x8' Rolling Bench (AARBK48) equipped with a trellis kit, IGE benches, and most standard 5'-wide commercial rolling benches. For 4'-wide bench setups, the 4' Infinity Tray series is the appropriate match.

What are the bench sub-support requirements for these trays? +

The trays support a maximum load of 154 lbs/m² with support beams spaced no more than 19.5" (500 mm) apart. The drain section of the tray must not rest on any support beam, and glued tray connections must be supported within 2.75" (70 mm) of the connection point. Supports must be placed under the section of the tray with the drop-down glue lip. Full sub-support diagrams are included in the installation guide.

What is the difference between the End Tray w/Drain and the End Tray (without drain)? +

The End Tray w/Drain (this listing) has an integrated drain outlet and is always positioned at the start of the bench run — it's where solution exits the system. The End Tray (without drain) is a mirror component placed at the opposite end of the run to close off the system. Both are required in every Infinity Tray installation; they are not interchangeable and each is available separately on this site.

Are these trays recyclable, and what material are they made from? +

Yes. The 2.0 Infinity Trays are made from High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) — a UV-stable, food-safe thermoplastic that remains 100% recyclable even after years of continuous grow room use. The material is impact and heat resistant, and the UV-stable formulation prevents degradation from grow light exposure over extended production cycles.
