Active Aqua 2.0 Infinity Tray - 5' x 6.5' End Tray

The End Tray w/ Drain has an integrated drain outlet and is always positioned at the start of the bench run — it's where nutrient solution exits the tray system after each irrigation cycle. This listing, the End Tray (without drain), closes off the opposite end of the run. Both are required in every installation; they are not interchangeable and each is available separately on this site.

A complete run requires four component types in the following order: one End Tray w/ Drain, one to seven Middle Trays, one 5' x 4' Division Tray, and this End Tray as the final component. Many growers also utilize 9" x 9" square white pots to maximize their production within this system. All four tray types are available separately on this site in both 4' and 5' widths.

Staal Plast Polystyrene glue (item STP3010) is required and sold separately. It is applied with a caulk gun into the 3–5 mm gap between tray connections and must cure for 48–72 hours at 68°F before the trays are put into use. Wearing breathing protection, goggles, and gloves during the gluing process is required. Full instructions are included in the installation guide linked above.

The 5' Infinity Tray series is compatible with Active Aqua IZON Rolling Bench Systems, the Active Aqua 4'x8' Rolling Bench trellis support kit, IGE benches, and most standard 5'-wide commercial rolling benches. For 4'-wide bench setups, the 4' Infinity Tray series is the appropriate match.

The trays support a maximum load of 154 lbs/m² with support beams spaced no more than 19.5" (500 mm) apart. The drain section of the End Tray w/ Drain must not rest on any support beam, and glued connections must be supported within 2.75" (70 mm) of each joint. Supports must be placed under the section of each tray with the drop-down glue lip. Full sub-support diagrams are in the installation guide.

The maximum total run length is 65', achieved with the full complement of seven Middle Trays plus the End Tray w/ Drain, 5' x 4' Division Tray, and this End Tray. Division Trays (available in 5' x 2' and 4' lengths) can be cut to size to fine-tune the total run when standard increments don't align precisely with your bench layout.

Yes. The 2.0 Infinity Trays are made from High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) — a UV-stable, food-safe thermoplastic that remains 100% recyclable even after years of continuous grow room use. The UV-stable formulation prevents degradation from grow light exposure over extended production cycles, and the material is both impact and heat resistant under standard operating conditions.
