Active Aqua 2.0 Infinity Tray - 5' x 4' Division Tray

The Division Tray is a required single-quantity component placed between the last Middle Tray and the End Tray at the tail end of every bench run. It bridges the transition between the repeatable middle section and the closing end component, and its cuttable design gives growers the ability to adjust total run length precisely — something no other component in the system allows.

Division Trays can only be cut at the top of the block — cutting through the bottom of the tray will compromise the drainage channel and structural integrity. Use a straight edge and a fine-tooth saw to score and cut cleanly across the top surface only. Select the 4' Division Tray as your starting point when you need a longer adjustment range; the 2' Division Tray (sold separately) is available when less material needs to be removed.

The right choice depends on your target bench run length. Since Division Trays can be cut to size, the 4' version gives you more material to work with when fine-tuning run length — start with 4' if your layout requires a larger adjustment from the nearest Middle Tray increment. The 2' Division Tray is more appropriate when your run only needs a short bridging segment at the tail end. Both are available separately on this site.

Staal Plast Polystyrene glue (item STP3010) is required and sold separately. It seals both the connection to the last Middle Tray and the connection to the End Tray. The glue is applied with a caulk gun into the 3–5 mm gap at each joint and must cure for 48–72 hours at 68°F before the trays are put into use. The 5' Infinity Tray series is compatible with Active Aqua IZON Rolling Bench Systems (AAB51001, AAB52002), the Active Aqua 4'x8' Rolling Bench (AARBK48), IGE benches, and most standard 5'-wide commercial rolling benches. For 4'-wide bench setups, the 4' Infinity Tray Division Tray is the appropriate match.

Glued tray connections must be supported within 2.75" (70 mm) of each joint — this applies to both the Division Tray's connection to the last Middle Tray and its connection to the End Tray. Support beams must be placed under the section of the tray with the drop-down glue lip, and maximum spacing between supports across the full run is 19.5" (500 mm). Yes. The 2.0 Infinity Trays are made from High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) — a UV-stable thermoplastic that remains 100% recyclable even after years of continuous grow room use. The UV-stable formulation resists degradation from grow light exposure, and the material holds up to impact and heat under standard operating conditions without losing its recyclability at end of life.
