FAQs
How often should I wash or replace the pre-filter cloth?
For optimal performance, we recommend dusting the pre-filter weekly and machine washing it every 1-2 months, depending on how dusty your environment is. Each cloth is designed to last for approximately six months of continuous use before needing replacement.
Will this pre-filter reduce my fan's airflow?
No, the pre-filter is made from a highly breathable polyester material specifically designed to catch larger particles like dust and pet hair without restricting airflow to your carbon filter and inline fan.
Is this compatible with carbon filters from other brands?
This pre-filter is precisely cut to fit 6-inch AC Infinity Duct Carbon Filters. While it might fit other 6-inch filters, we can only guarantee a perfect, secure fit on AC Infinity models.
What is the main benefit of using a pre-filter?
The primary benefit is extending the life of your main carbon filter. By trapping larger airborne particles, the pre-filter prevents the activated carbon from becoming clogged prematurely, ensuring it can focus on eliminating odors and VOCs effectively for much longer.
Can I use this with other AC Infinity ventilation products?
Absolutely. This pre-filter is a key component in many of AC Infinity's complete air filtration kits and is designed to work seamlessly with their entire ecosystem of ventilation products.
Where can I learn more about setting up an air filtration system?
