AC Infinity Ionprime 6 500W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light

Fixed-bar LED fixtures put their output wherever the frame puts it, which leaves tent corners underlit and the center prone to hot spots. The AC Infinity Ionprime 6 fixes that at the bar level: each of its four LED bars tilts up to 180°, so you can angle light toward the edges of a 4' × 4' flowering canopy instead of raising or lowering the whole fixture. At 12" above the canopy, the Ionprime 6 delivers 2,123 µmol/m²/s at center and holds 1,250+ µmol/m²/s across the mid-canopy.

The Ionprime 6 draws 500W through 2,312 diodes in a five-band spectrum: 3000K and 5000K white for full-cycle growth, 660nm deep red for flowering, 730nm far red for yield, and 395nm UV to stimulate secondary metabolites. Algorithmically spaced diodes and individually replaceable bars keep output even, and a single failed bar never takes down the whole light.

An onboard Schedule Controller handles 0–100% PWM dimming, custom schedules, sunrise/sunset transitions, and power-outage memory out of the box. Connect a UIS controller for Wi-Fi app control, or scale up by daisy-chaining as many as 80 lights to one controller through UIS splitters and adapters. Detachable drivers let multiple fixtures run from a single power source.

The Ionprime 6 covers a 4' × 4' area in flowering and up to 5' × 5' in the vegetative stage. In sealed rooms running CO₂ enrichment at 1200+ PPM, AC Infinity recommends a 3' × 3' footprint to take advantage of the higher light demand.

How high should I hang the Ionprime 6 above my plants? +

AC Infinity's starter guide suggests about 1.5 ft from the canopy, running 40% intensity for seedlings, 80% in veg, and 100% in flower. For reference, center PPFD measures 2,123 µmol/m²/s at 12", 1,745 at 14", and 1,460 at 18". Adjust for your strain and how the plants respond.

Why do the light bars adjust, and how do I use that? +

Each bar tilts up to 180°, so you can direct light where the canopy needs it rather than moving the whole fixture. Angling the outer bars outward helps fill tent corners and edges, while keeping them straight concentrates intensity in the center and reduces hot spots on uneven canopies.

Can I control the Ionprime 6 from my phone? +

The included Schedule Controller handles dimming, schedules, and sunrise/sunset transitions directly on the light, but it does not connect to Wi-Fi. For app control and automation, connect the Ionprime 6 to an AC Infinity UIS controller (sold separately).

How many Ionprime lights can I connect together? +

Up to 80 grow lights can be linked to a single controller using UIS splitters and adapters. Lights can be daisy-chained bracket-to-bracket or driver-to-driver, and the detachable drivers let multiple fixtures share one power source. The included 120V power cable is rated for a maximum combined load of 1,800W.

What do the UV and far-red diodes do? +

The 395nm UV diodes stimulate secondary metabolite production, and the 730nm far-red diodes support higher yields. They work alongside 660nm deep red for flowering and a 3000K/5000K white base that covers the full growth cycle from germination through harvest.

Can the Ionprime 6 run on 208–277V power? +

The Ionprime 6 driver accepts 100–277V AC at 50/60 Hz. The power cable included in the box is a 120V US plug, so contact our team to confirm the correct cord before connecting to a higher-voltage circuit.
