AC Infinity Ionprime 10 1000W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light

Filling a 5' × 5' footprint is one thing; driving it hard enough for dense, high-yield flower or a CO₂-enriched room is another. The AC Infinity Ionprime 10 puts 1000W and eight adjustable bars over the same 5' × 5' area. At 12" it reaches 2,410 µmol/m²/s at center and averages 1,502 µmol/m²/s across a 25-point grid, while keeping even the corner readings near 900–1,000.

The Ionprime 10 runs 4,624 diodes from two LED drivers. It pairs 2,560 3000K and 1,984 5000K whites with 64 Everlight 660nm deep red, 8 Bridgelux 730nm far red, and 8 Seoul 395nm UV. Every bar pivots up to 180°, so you can spread intensity toward the tent walls or focus it on the core of the canopy. Each bar is individually replaceable.

Both a 120V and a 240V power cable come in the box, so the Ionprime 10 is ready for standard outlets or dedicated high-voltage grow circuits. The onboard Schedule Controller covers 0–100% PWM dimming, schedules, sunrise/sunset transitions and power-outage memory. Connecting a UIS controller adds Wi-Fi app control and links up to 80 lights for synchronized room-scale operation.

What's the difference between the Ionprime 10 and Ionprime 8? +

Both cover a 5' × 5' footprint, but the Ionprime 10 does it with 1000W, eight bars, and two drivers versus the Ionprime 8's 730W and six bars. At 12" the Ionprime 10 averages about 1,500 µmol/m²/s across the grid compared to roughly 1,280 for the Ionprime 8, with noticeably stronger edges and corners. It also includes a 240V power cable.

Is the Ionprime 10 a good fit for a CO₂-enriched grow? +

Yes. AC Infinity's starter guide lists the Ionprime 10 as the series option for a 5' × 5' sealed room running CO₂ at 1200+ PPM. Plants in enriched environments can use higher light intensity, which is where the Ionprime 10's extra output pays off.

Can I plug the Ionprime 10 into a 240V outlet? +

Yes. The Ionprime 10 ships with both a 120V AC power cable (1,800W max) and a 240V AC power cable (rated 3,600W max), and the drivers accept 100–277V AC. Running on 240V lets you put more fixtures on a single circuit in larger setups.

How far above the canopy should I hang it? +

AC Infinity suggests starting around 1.5 ft above the canopy, with intensity at 40% for seedlings, 80% for veg, and 100% for flower. Because the Ionprime 10 still delivers over 1,800 µmol/m²/s at center from 18", watch for signs of light stress and dim or raise the fixture if needed.

What's the best way to set the bar angles on an 8-bar light? +

Begin with all eight bars facing straight down, then tilt the outermost pair toward the walls to lift edge readings if perimeter plants lag. Each bar pivots up to 180°, so you can also aim inner bars toward taller or denser sections of the canopy.

Do I need a UIS controller to use the Ionprime 10? +

No. The included Schedule Controller runs dimming, schedules, sunrise/sunset ramps, and power-outage memory on its own. A UIS controller (sold separately) adds Wi-Fi app control and lets you sync the light with fans and other AC Infinity devices.

How do I connect multiple Ionprime 10 lights? +

The included daisy-chain adapter and UIS cords link fixtures together, and up to 80 lights can run from one controller using UIS splitters and adapters. Detachable drivers allow multiple lights to share a power source, so keep the combined load within the rating of the power cable you're using.
