This allows you to start with a system like this 15-pot kit and scale up to a larger setup such as the 21-pot system without needing to replace your core components.

What size grow space is recommended for this 15-pot kit?+

The minimum footprint for the 15-pot, 3-row configuration is approximately 10.2 feet by 5.8 feet. However, we recommend allowing extra space around the system for easy access, maintenance, and to accommodate plant growth. The pots can be spaced further apart if your plants require more room.

What is included with the kit?+

This kit is comprehensive and includes the 15 V-Pots, all required tubing and push-fit connections, the header pot, and the powerful 750W Vortex water pump. You will still need to supply your own water chiller, nutrients, grow medium (like clay pebbles), and a main reservoir. We recommend pairing it with an Alien Hydroponics GardenTank for best results.

Is a water chiller necessary for this system?+

Yes, a water chiller is highly recommended for any DWC or RDWC system to maintain the nutrient solution temperature between 65-68°F (18-20°C). This optimal temperature range maximizes dissolved oxygen, prevents root diseases like Pythium, and ensures healthy, rapid growth. The recommended minimum chiller capacity for this system is 396 gallons.
