FAQs
How often should I wash the pre-filter?
We recommend checking the pre-filter monthly and washing it whenever you notice a significant buildup of dust or debris. A clean pre-filter ensures optimal airflow and filtration.
Will this fit other brands of 4" carbon filters?
This pre-filter is specifically designed for a perfect fit on the AC Infinity 4" Duct Premium Carbon Filter. While it may fit other 4" filters, we cannot guarantee compatibility or performance.
Can I put the pre-filter in the dryer?
To preserve the material's integrity and elasticity, we recommend air-drying the pre-filter cloth after machine washing on a gentle cycle.
How do I install the pre-filter?
Installation is simple. Just stretch the elastic opening of the cloth cover over the body of your carbon filter until it is smooth and secure.
Why is using a pre-filter important?
A pre-filter acts as the first line of defense, capturing larger particles like dust, pet hair, and pollen. This prevents the inner activated carbon from becoming clogged, extending its lifespan and maintaining its effectiveness at odor elimination.
