The DR-1 is a spectrum-shaping bar, not a standalone room light. It runs two channels, full spectrum plus a dedicated deep red channel, so you mix it into a Model One driver group alongside your full-spectrum TLB bars rather than lighting a room on it alone.

A common starting point is one DR-1 for every two to three full-spectrum TLB bars over a flowering canopy. For deeper canopies, drop an ICL-300 inner-canopy bar into the lower canopy.

Which daisy-chain cord do I need?

Every Model One bar shares the same mount, 90W draw, and Samsung diodes, so the choice comes down to length and spectrum.

The DR-1 pairs a Samsung white-based full-spectrum channel with a dedicated deep-red channel at 660 nm. Dialing in the deep red raises photosynthetic efficiency and pushes a stronger flowering response, as the two recipes below show.

Both channels dim independently through a two-channel TLD-2 driver, and a TrolMaster controller can automate the blend across an entire room.
