FAQs
How is the P2 blade different from the Piranha blade?
The P2 blade is an upgraded version of the Speedee Piranha™ blade, specifically for dry trimming. It features a thicker, more durable construction with longer teeth, wider spacing, and a concave tooth configuration for better contouring.
Can I use this trimmer for wet trimming?
This model with the P2 blade is specifically designed and optimized for dry trimming. For wet trimming applications, Speedee Trim offers specialized blades such as the Butterfly™ Wet Trim Blade.
Is there a cordless version of this trimmer?
Yes, for maximum portability and freedom of movement, the Speedee Trim Cordless Trimmer is available. It offers the same great performance powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
How do I control the speed of the blades?
The corded model runs at a single speed. To achieve variable speed control for more delicate work, you can pair it with the optional Speedee Trim Speed Controller, which is sold separately.
What are some best practices for dry trimming?
For optimal results, ensure your flower is properly cured to the right moisture level. When trimming, gently skim the surface of the buds with the blade. For more in-depth techniques, check out our guide on wet versus dry trimming to master the process.
