EzTrim Bud Shaker Box - Standard and XL Models

The system uses two slotted trays (3/16″ and 1/2″ openings) nested inside a collection container. When you shake the box side to side, gravity pulls smaller pieces—popcorn buds and trim—through the slots while your premium large buds remain on top. This gentle mechanical separation happens in about 30 seconds without damaging trichomes or requiring hand-sorting.

The Standard model ($299) suits smaller growers processing occasional batches or testing the system, with its compact 21″ x 12″ footprint. The XL model ($499) is recommended for commercial operations or high-volume growers who need the extra capacity (28″ x 19″), more durable aluminum trays, and the efficiency gains that justify the investment. Both process up to 1 pound per batch in 30 seconds, but the XL's larger working area and robust construction handle daily production demands better.

The Standard model uses food-grade polycarbonate containers that are safe for direct plant contact and durable enough for repeated use. The XL model features food-grade polypropylene for the tote and heavy-duty aluminum for the slotted trays, providing superior strength and longevity for commercial operations. All materials meet food-safety standards.

Both the Standard and XL models can process up to 1 pound of product per batch. The XL's larger dimensions (28″L x 19″W vs. 21″L x 12″W) provide more working surface, which makes handling that full pound easier and allows for more aggressive shaking without spillage. You can run multiple batches consecutively as needed.

No tools or technical knowledge required. The Standard model simply nests three containers together, while the XL model requires inserting two aluminum trays into the tote—both setups take under a minute. Once assembled, operation is as simple as loading your product and shaking side to side. One person can efficiently run the entire process.

The Bud Shaker Box is specifically designed to minimize handling and preserve bud quality. The gentle side-to-side shaking motion and smooth food-grade surfaces cause significantly less trichome damage than hand-sorting or aggressive trimming methods. Premium buds remain intact on the top surface while only smaller pieces fall through the slots.

The 1/2″ slotted tray (top layer) catches your premium large buds while allowing popcorn buds and larger trim pieces to fall through. The 3/16″ slotted tray (middle layer) catches that popcorn while letting fine trim and shake fall into the bottom collection area. This two-stage system efficiently sorts your harvest into three distinct quality grades in one pass.

Approximately 30 seconds of active shaking will separate up to 1 pound of mixed product. This timing assumes consistent side-to-side shaking motion—not vigorous enough to damage buds, but steady enough to allow gravity to work. Add a few seconds to transfer material in and out, and you're still completing batches in under a minute each.
