Its 5-micron rating ensures that even fine silt and rust are removed, protecting your water quality and your hardware.

The Axeon R1 Series features a sophisticated multi-stage depth filtration design with four distinct layers of graded density. By employing "outside-in" flow technology, the outer layers trap larger particles while the inner core captures the fine 5-micron sediment. This tiered approach results in a significantly higher dirt-holding capacity and a much lower pressure drop compared to standard string-wound or spun cartridges. To ensure the longevity of an Axeon XE1-4040 RO Membrane, this filter effectively removes the physical contaminants that cause membrane fouling.
