Who This Is For

  • You are clearing standing water from a flooded area because your current pump lacks the lift to push it over the edge.
  • You are draining a large pond or pool because you need high-volume flow to finish the job before the next work day.

What We Found

  • The bottom-inlet design is the real winner here because it pulls water much lower than standard side-intake models.
  • We favor the ceramic shaft design because it handles heavy-duty cycles without the typical grinding noise.

What Users Say

  • Users dealing with frequent basement flooding say the high-lift capacity prevents them from needing a second pump.
  • Commercial growers who use this for water transfers report the thermostat safety shutoff saves the motor from burnout.

AquaVita 2378 Sump Pump (2378GPH)

Some drainage jobs — flooding a full basement, draining a swimming pool, or moving water out of a large pond — need more power than any other sump pump in the lineup can deliver. The AquaVita 2378 answers that with 2,378 gallons per hour of flow and a maximum lift of 16.4 ft, the highest-capacity model AquaVita makes, housed in rust-proof stainless steel built for sustained heavy-duty use.

A bottom-inlet design lets the AquaVita 2378 draw water from low levels other pumps can't reach, while still generating high lift and powerful flow. Inside, a rare earth rotor and wear-resistant ceramic shaft keep the pump energy efficient even at this scale of output, and an epoxy resin sealed motor delivers a water-tight seal with low operating noise. A built-in thermostat adds an extra layer of safety and reliability, shutting the motor down before it overheats. Every AquaVita 2378 ships with a 1.25" fitting and a garden hose adapter that converts a standard garden hose for use with the pump — additional adapters are available separately. At 220W, it includes an 11.5' grounded power cord.
