Active Aqua 1" Fill/Drain Fitting - Pack of 10

In a flood and drain system, fill/drain fittings are installed in the drain ports of the flood table and serve as the connection points for the tubing that moves nutrient solution between the table and the reservoir. During a flood cycle, the pump pushes solution up from the Active Aqua 2.0 reservoir through the fill fitting into the table. When the pump stops, gravity drains the solution back down through the drain fitting and into the reservoir. The 1" size is the standard diameter used across most Active Aqua flood table setups.

The 1" fill/drain fitting is a standard size used across many hydroponic flood table brands, so it will physically fit any table with a standard 1" drain port. Compatibility depends on whether your table uses the same port diameter — measure your existing drain port before ordering if you're working with a non-Active Aqua table.

Most standard flood and drain setups use two fittings per table — one for the fill line from the pump and one for the overflow/drain return to the reservoir. Some configurations use a single combined drain port, so the total needed depends on your specific table design. The pack of 10 covers up to five standard two-fitting table setups, making it well suited for multi-table commercial grows or shared facility builds.

This fitting is sized for 1" inside diameter tubing — use Active Aqua 1" ID Black Vinyl Tubing or equivalent 1" ID tubing to connect the flood table to the reservoir. Using undersized tubing will restrict flow during flood cycles and slow drain times, while oversized tubing won't seat on the fitting barb securely.

Fill/drain fittings typically install through a pre-drilled hole in the flood table bottom, with a locking nut or bulkhead washer tightened from the underside to create a watertight seal. If your tray wall is particularly thick, you may require an extension fitting to ensure a secure connection. Ensure the hole diameter matches the fitting's body diameter before installation, and hand-tighten the locking nut firmly — over-tightening can crack the table material.
