FAQs
How often should I wash or replace the pre-filter?
We recommend washing the pre-filter every 2-3 months and replacing it with a fresh one after 6 months of continuous use to ensure optimal performance.
Will this pre-filter reduce my fan's airflow?
No, the cloth is specifically designed to be highly breathable. It captures larger particles without significantly restricting airflow, allowing your fan to operate efficiently.
How do I wash the pre-filter cloth?
The pre-filter is machine washable. Use a gentle cycle with cold water and a mild detergent. Allow it to air dry completely before reinstalling it on your carbon filter.
Is this compatible with other brands of 10" carbon filters?
This pre-filter is precisely designed for a perfect fit on the AC Infinity 10" Duct Carbon Filter. While it may fit other 10" filters, we cannot guarantee compatibility or performance with non-AC Infinity products.
Why is using a pre-filter important?
A pre-filter acts as the first barrier against dust, pet hair, and other large airborne particles. This prevents the inner activated carbon from becoming clogged, which extends the filter's lifespan and maintains its odor-neutralizing capabilities.
