THROUGH THE Cultivator's LENS Hands-On Evaluation

  • You are moving away from handheld sprayers because your current units create fatigue over large plant batches.
  • You are seeking better reach into tight corners because your current equipment requires excessive bending.

  • The shoulder strap makes a huge difference when you are moving around a full tank for an hour.
  • We found the wide mouth makes a cleaner pour for mixing nutrients compared to smaller, narrow necks.

  • Users report that switching to the tank's constant pressure helped them apply treatments far more evenly.
  • Growers who swapped out their old manual bottles say they finish their maintenance rounds in half the time.

Vivosun Pressure Sprayer 1.3 Gallon (5L)

Handheld trigger bottles cramp your hand after a few rows and run dry before the job is done. The Vivosun 1.3 Gallon Pressure Sprayer holds a full 5 liters. Pump it 15–20 times to pressurize the tank, then lock the trigger for continuous spray while it hangs from your shoulder. The 22.2" wand and 50" hose reach under canopies, into corners, and across beds without constant bending.

Three interchangeable nozzles handle different jobs. The double nozzle covers a broad, adjustable area, the basic nozzle suits everyday watering and treatments, and the fan nozzle spreads a wide, even pattern. Twist the basic nozzle tighter for a fine shower spray, or loosen it for a direct stream. A built-in safety valve automatically vents excess pressure at 3–3.5 bar, and you can release pressure by hand before opening the tank.

The wide-mouth opening makes filling fast and clean. The translucent tank has a calibration scale, so you can check fluid levels and mix ratios at a glance, and a thickened base keeps it stable when set down. It's suited to watering, pest control, and cleaning, and ships with an adjustable shoulder strap, a pair of gloves, and spare O-rings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pressurize the Vivosun 1.3 Gallon Sprayer? +

Rotate the pump handle to unlock it from its groove, then pump up and down evenly 15–20 times. Keep the trigger switch off while pumping. Once pressure builds, hold the trigger to start spraying.

How do I switch between spot and continuous spray? +

Squeeze the trigger for spot spraying. For continuous spray, press the switch forward to lock the trigger open, which lets you rest your hand while the sprayer keeps flowing.

Which nozzle should I use? +

The basic nozzle handles most everyday jobs; tighten it for a fine shower or loosen it for a direct stream. The double nozzle's adjustable dual heads change the spray range. The fan nozzle delivers the widest spray pattern for covering larger areas.

How do I fill the tank safely? +

Release any pressure first, then unscrew the pump assembly and pour your pre-mixed liquid through the wide mouth. Never fill past the maximum level marked on the tank, and don't add liquids hotter than 104°F (40°C). Run a trial spray with clean water to check for leaks before first use.

How do I release pressure from the tank? +

Press the trigger switch plate or pull up the stem of the safety valve until the pressure vents. The valve also releases excess air automatically at 3–3.5 bar. Always depressurize before opening the tank or storing the sprayer.

What can I spray with it? +

The sprayer is designed for horticulture, insect control, and cleaning. Do not use strong acids, alkaline solutions, or flammable liquids. When spraying pesticides, follow the chemical manufacturer's mixing instructions and wear a mask, protective clothing, and waterproof gloves.

How do I clean and maintain the sprayer? +

After use, fill the tank with clean water and spray until the output runs clear, then rinse the nozzle with water. Never clear the nozzle with a hard object. After one to two months of frequent use, or after long storage, lubricate the O-rings on the safety valve and piston with a low-viscosity grease. Store it depressurized in a dry indoor place.
