Can I control multiple grow rooms with a single HCS-3?

The HCS-3 is designed for single-zone control. While it can manage multiple sensors and devices, they all operate under a single logic set for one environment. For multi-zone facilities, the HCS-2 Pro is the recommended alternative.

Does the HCS-3 require an internet connection to function?

No, the controller operates locally and will continue to manage your environment without internet. An active connection is only required for remote monitoring and receiving push notifications via the smartphone app.

How many individual LED fixtures can I connect to the two channels?

The HCS-3 can control an unlimited number of lights by using TrolMaster lighting adapters. The two channels allow you to group these fixtures into two separate zones with independent dimming and spectrum settings.

Can I mix smoke and water detectors on the same unit?

Yes, the system supports up to 10 safety sensors in total. You can distribute these between smoke and water detectors to suit your facility layout.

What happens to my settings if the facility loses power?

The controller features internal memory that preserves all programming and settings. Once power is restored via the 12V adapter, the unit resumes its scheduled cycles automatically.
