FAQs
What's the difference between this and the variable speed model?
This Cordless Speed model operates at a single, optimized speed for efficient trimming. For those who need more precise control over the blade speed for different types of foliage, we recommend the Trim-Daddy 5th Generation Variable Speed Hand Trimmer, which allows you to adjust the speed to your exact needs.
Is this trimmer suitable for both wet and dry trimming?
Yes, the Trim-Daddy is designed to handle both wet and dry plant material effectively. The included swappable blades allow you to choose the best option for your specific trimming conditions, ensuring a clean cut every time.
How long does the 9V battery last on a full charge?
Battery life can vary depending on the intensity of use and the type of material being trimmed. On average, the included 9V lithium-ion battery provides several hours of continuous operation, making it suitable for most standard trimming sessions.
How heavy is the Trim-Daddy?
The trimmer is exceptionally lightweight, weighing only half a pound (0.5 lbs). This design, combined with its ergonomic handle, significantly reduces hand and wrist fatigue, making it much more comfortable than traditional trimming scissors for extended use.
How do I clean and maintain the blades?
For optimal performance, we recommend cleaning the blades after each use. Simply wipe them down with isopropyl alcohol to remove any plant residue or resin buildup. Ensure the blades are completely dry before storing them in the provided carrying case.
