What is the ideal hanging height for the HLG 750 Diablo?+

For vegetative growth, a height of 36 inches is recommended to cover a 6' x 6' area. For flowering, lower the light to 15-24 inches above the canopy to saturate a 5' x 5' footprint with intense light.

Is this light too powerful for a 4'x4' grow tent?+

While it's optimized for a 5'x5' area, you can effectively use it in a 4'x4' tent by utilizing the included dimmable driver. Start at a lower intensity and gradually increase it to find the perfect level for your plants, preventing light burn while maximizing growth.
