The 4-inch squares provide more support points across the canopy and work well for dense grows or tighter canopy organization across the full 5x10 footprint. The 6-inch squares give you more open access for tucking and guiding branches. For maximum flexibility, the Grow1 5ft x 10ft Trellis Netting 2-pack includes both versions to support different training styles.

Most growers run between four and ten plants in a 5x10 tent depending on their training style and plant count strategy. Four to six larger plants trained to fill the full net works well for SCROG, while higher plant counts of eight to ten are common for sea of green (SOG) or faster-cycling grows where each plant fills a smaller, defined section of the net.

Attach the included plastic corner hooks to each corner of the netting, then stretch and hook them onto your tent poles at the desired canopy height. As plants grow up through the 6-inch squares, gently guide branches and stems through to spread the canopy laterally and maximize light exposure across the entire tent footprint.

Yes. While designed primarily for grow tent use, the Grow1 Trellis Netting works equally well outdoors. Stretch the corner hooks onto garden stakes or posts at the desired height; for smaller garden beds, the Grow1 5ft x 5ft Trellis Netting is an excellent alternative that provides the same stretch and durability in a more compact size.

Grow1 Trellis Netting is suitable for potted plants, vines, fruiting plants, and flowering crops. It's particularly effective for SCROG and LST training techniques where lateral canopy spread is the goal — maximizing light penetration and yield potential across a large 5x10 grow space.

Position the netting just above the current canopy height early in the vegetative stage, then raise it as needed or leave it fixed and train plants through the squares as they grow up. For SCROG training, most growers place the net 8–12 inches above the top of the growing medium and begin tucking new growth through the squares as it emerges.
