The 4-inch squares provide more support points across the canopy and work well for denser growth habits or growers who want tighter canopy organization. The 6-inch squares offer more open access, making it easier to tuck and guide branches during training — a practical choice for growers who prefer a more hands-on approach to canopy management.

The 2ft x 2ft netting is designed for 2x2 grow tents. The elastic construction allows it to stretch slightly beyond its listed dimensions, giving it flexibility to fit snugly within the tent and maintain consistent tension across the canopy as plants grow. For larger square footprints, we also offer the Grow1 4ft x 4ft Trellis Netting with the same 6-inch spacing.

Attach the included plastic corner hooks to each corner of the netting, then stretch and hook them onto your tent poles at the desired canopy height. As plants grow up through the 6-inch squares, gently guide branches and stems through to spread the canopy laterally and maximize light exposure across the entire plant.

Yes. While designed primarily for grow tent use, the Grow1 Trellis Netting works equally well outdoors. Stretch the corner hooks onto garden stakes or posts at the desired height and use it to support potted plants, vines, and outdoor vegetables the same way you would indoors.

Grow1 Trellis Netting is suitable for potted plants, vines, fruiting plants, and flowering crops. It's particularly effective for training techniques like LST (low stress training) and SCROG (screen of green) where lateral canopy spread is the goal — maximizing light penetration and yield potential within a fixed grow space.

Position the netting just above the current canopy height early in the vegetative stage, then raise it as needed or leave it fixed and train plants through the squares as they grow up. For SCROG training, most growers place the net 8–12 inches above the top of the growing medium and begin tucking new growth through the squares as it emerges.
