Commercial growers often struggle with inefficient light distribution and excessive heat, which can compromise harvest quality and drive up energy costs. The Black Dog LED PhytoMAX-4 24S is the solution, delivering a massive 3188 µmol/s of light while utilizing just 1500 watts of power. Designed to outperform traditional DE HPS systems, this fixture provides the intensity and coverage needed for large-scale operations to achieve maximum yields. For growers with slightly smaller footprints, the Black Dog LED PhytoMAX-4 20S LED Grow Light offers similar performance in a scaled-down format.
The PhytoMAX-4 24S comes in two variants: SP and SC.
The SP variant uses a standard IEC cable rated 100 – 250 volts, ideal for most standard indoor grow setups.
The SC variant is rated 100 – 277 volts and features a locking, water-tight power connection designed specifically for greenhouse use.
Uses eight LED colors to trigger precise plant responses for a more bountiful harvest.
Evenly spread UV light builds resistance to pathogens and increases terpene production.
High-performance fans manage heat effectively, extending LED lifespan and maintaining efficiency.
Set brightness from 15% to 100% to provide the exact intensity required for each growth phase.

Yes, the PhytoMAX-4 24S is designed to outperform 1000W DE HPS systems, providing more usable light (3188 µmol/s) with better efficiency and less radiant heat.
The SP model uses a standard IEC power cord (100-250V), while the SC model features a locking, water-tight power connection (100-277V) designed for humid greenhouse environments.
Yes, it features 0-10V dimming capabilities, allowing you to adjust the intensity from 15% to 100% to suit different stages of plant growth.
Both the LEDs and the active cooling fans are rated for a mean time before failure (MTBF) of over 70,000 hours of continuous use.
