- Properly unscrew the sealing ring in the lower part of the meter.
- Remove the defective or old electrode by gently pulling it.
- Carefully place the new electrode with the recess in the correct position so the connectors properly connect without damaging the meter or electrode.

- Tightly tighten the sealing ring.
- Calibrate the meter using pH 7.00 and 4.01 calibration solutions as described in the user manual.
