THROUGH THE Cultivator's LENS Highlights

  • You are managing a large flowering room because high transpiration loads are pushing humidity up and threatening the canopy with mold.
  • You are holding target humidity through every stage of the cycle because conventional two-coil designs cause too many defrost interruptions.

  • The multi-coil refrigerant recovery system widens the dewpoint operating range to reduce defrost cycles.
  • The digital interface provides error-code diagnostics and a low-voltage terminal block for external controllers.

  • Commercial growers managing heavy transpiration loads report they no longer struggle with drift in VPD during late flower.
  • Operators utilizing the external control terminal report smooth integration with their existing automated climate setups.

Anden A711 V1 Dehumidifier — 705 Pints/Day

Large flowering rooms can transpire hundreds of pints of water every day. If that moisture isn't pulled out, VPD drifts, and late flower turns into a fight against bud rot and mold. The Anden A711 V1 removes up to 705 pints per day (at 80°F, 60% RH) and moves 1,800 CFM on standard 208-240V single-phase power. That gives commercial growers the capacity to hold target humidity through every stage of the cycle.

The A711 V1 is the first Anden unit built with M-CORR (Multi-Coil Refrigerant Recovery), a patented technology from the engineers behind Quest. It runs refrigerant through multiple coils and recovers it for reuse. This raises efficiency and widens the dewpoint operating range beyond conventional two-coil designs. The result is fewer defrost interruptions during late flower, when steady moisture removal matters most.

The A711 V1 includes the features growers actually use and leaves out the extras that drive up upfront cost. You get integrated suspension points, a ductable cabinet, a removable plug for hardwiring, an onboard digital interface with error-code diagnostics, a low-voltage terminal block for external controllers, and a removable side panel for in-place service. If you need less capacity, we also carry the Anden A321 V1. For facilities running 277V power, the same platform is available as the Anden A711 V3.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much moisture does the A711 V1 remove per day?+

The A711 V1 removes up to 705 pints per day at 80°F and 60% RH, and 471 pints per day at 75°F and 50% RH. Actual removal depends on your room's temperature and humidity, so output drops as the space gets drier. If you need a smaller unit for lower capacity requirements, consider the Anden A210 V1.

What electrical service does the A711 V1 need?+

The A711 V1 runs on 208-240V single-phase, 60 Hz power and ships with a 6 ft. NEMA 6-30P cord. It has an MCA of 27 A and an MOP of 45 A. A GFCI-protected circuit is recommended, and the unit should never be used with an extension cord. If your facility runs 277V, choose the Anden A711 V3 instead.

Can I hang the A711 V1 from the ceiling?+

Yes. The A711 V1 has built-in 3/8" threaded inserts. You'll need four 3/8" threaded rods and four 3/8" jam nuts, which are not included. Anden recommends a maximum hanger rod length of 6 ft., and the drain outlet must sit at least 6.75" above the floor drain. Always confirm that the supporting structure can carry the unit's weight.

Can the A711 V1 be ducted from outside the grow room?+

Yes. The A711 V1 can be installed in an adjacent room and ducted to the cultivation space using the optional intake and exhaust duct kits, which are sold separately. Use at least two 15" round ducts on the ducted side, keep at least 4 ft. of straight duct before any turns, and keep total static pressure under 0.25" WG.

How do I connect an external humidity controller?+

Wire the controller to the low-voltage 24VAC terminal block under the user interface, then press the Terminal Control button so the unit follows the external signal. Anden's DEH 3000R and QA76 controls are compatible, as is any dry-contact controller rated for a 24VAC signal, such as TrolMaster. Up to six units can be daisy-chained to a single control.

How often should I change the air filters?+

The A711 V1 uses two 18" × 20" × 2" MERV-13 filters. Anden recommends changing them every 3-6 months, or at least once per grow cycle. The filter light turns on after 2,000 hours of fan run time, or sooner if the pressure switch detects a restriction. Running the unit without filters can clog the coils and voids the warranty.

Will the A711 V1's display lights interrupt my dark period?+

No. Dark Mode turns off all display lights 20 seconds after it is activated. Pressing any button wakes the display temporarily, and it goes dark again 20 seconds after the last press.

How does the A711 V1 drain condensate, and what does the warranty cover?+

Condensate drains by gravity through a 3/4" FNPT port, and a vented P-trap is required to prevent backflow. An optional pump kit is available if the water has to be lifted to reach a drain. The 3-year limited warranty includes 1 year of full coverage plus 2 additional years of parts replacement.
