AC Infinity Ionbeam S11 30W Full Spectrum Bar LED Grow Light

Even a strong overhead light leaves lower branches and canopy edges in shade, and those buds finish smaller and airier than the tops. The AC Infinity Ionbeam S11 fixes that with four 11-inch LED bars, 30W total, that you place exactly where your main light can't reach. Mount them along tent walls for side lighting, or between plants for inter-canopy and under-canopy coverage, to fill in those dead zones.

Each bar carries 12 Samsung LM301H EVO diodes in a 3000K and 5000K mix, each rated at 3.14 µmol/J. That's higher efficiency and more blue output than earlier LM301H, LM301B and Bridgelux 3030 chips. The bars mount magnetically to steel tent poles, through the tent canvas using the included mounting bars, or to a wall with the included screws. That makes them just as useful as primary lighting over seedlings, clones or an AC Infinity humidity dome. The unibody housing and aluminum boards pull heat away from the diodes, and the IP65 rating protects against water and dust.

The included Schedule Controller offers OFF, ON and SCHEDULE modes with 10 intensity levels and sunrise/sunset dimming. Its port also connects to a UIS™ controller such as the Smart Controller 69 Pro (sold separately). That adds Wi-Fi app control, climate triggers and grow schedules, and syncs the bars with a primary light like the AC Infinity Ionboard S24 and the rest of your AC Infinity equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the Ionbeam S11 as my primary grow light? +

Yes, for small spaces and propagation. AC Infinity recommends placing the bars about 1.5 in. above the canopy and running 40% intensity for seedlings, 80% for veg and 100% for flower. In a full-size grow tent, the S11 works best as supplemental lighting alongside a primary fixture from the AC Infinity Ionboard series.

How close should supplemental bars be to my plants? +

Match intensity to distance. AC Infinity suggests 10% at 1 in., 20–30% at 2 in., 40–50% at 3 in., 60–70% at 4 in., 80–90% at 5 in. and 100% at 6 in. or more. Mount bars above the canopy to brighten dim corners, or at inter-canopy and under-canopy height to develop lower growth.

How do I mount the Ionbeam S11 in my grow tent? +

The bars stick magnetically to steel tent poles, and the included hook and loop ties add security and let you adjust the angle. To mount on the tent wall or ceiling, place a mounting bar on the outside of the canvas and the light bar directly opposite on the inside; the magnets hold through the fabric. You can also screw the mounting bars to a wall or wood support for a permanent install.

What's the difference between the Ionbeam S11 and S16? +

The main difference is bar length. The S11 uses 11-inch bars sized for smaller tents and tight spots, while the AC Infinity Ionbeam S16 uses longer 16-inch bars for wider coverage. Both ship as four-bar kits with the same controller and mounting hardware.

Does the Ionbeam S11 have Wi-Fi app control? +

The included Schedule Controller runs on/off and daily schedules with 10 intensity levels and sunrise/sunset dimming, without Wi-Fi. Connect the power adapter to a UIS™ controller such as the Smart Controller 69 Pro Plus (sold separately) for Wi-Fi app control, automations, alerts and climate-based triggers.

How do the light bars connect, and can I space them farther apart? +

The bars link in a chain: the single-corded bar plugs into a dual-corded bar, and the chain connects to the EC power adapter and then the controller. Nine bar extension cords are included, so you can add one between any two bars to spread them across your space. Twist-on connectors seal each joint.

Is the Ionbeam S11 safe for humid grow tents? +

Yes. The bars are IP65-rated against water and dust and operate from 35 to 85% RH and 32 to 140°F. The UIS connector also has a gasketed end that protects the power adapter connection from moisture and dust.
