The 5x5 net covers an additional 9 square feet over the 4x4 netting, making it the right choice for growers who have stepped up to a larger tent format and need full corner-to-corner coverage. Both use the same heavy-duty elastic construction and 4-inch square spacing — the 5x5 simply scales that coverage to fit the larger footprint without compromising tension or support.

Most growers run between two and six plants in a 5x5 tent depending on their training style. Two to four larger plants trained to fill the full net is common for SCROG, while higher plant counts of four to six work well for sea of green (SOG) or multi-plant setups where each plant is guided to cover a defined section of the net.

Attach the included plastic corner hooks to each corner of the netting, then stretch and hook them onto your tent poles at the desired canopy height. As plants grow up through the 4-inch squares, gently guide branches and stems through to spread the canopy laterally and maximize light exposure across the entire tent footprint.

Yes. While designed primarily for grow tent use, the Grow1 Trellis Netting works equally well outdoors. Stretch the corner hooks onto garden stakes or posts at the desired height and use it to support potted plants, vines, and outdoor vegetables the same way you would indoors.

Grow1 Trellis Netting is suitable for potted plants, vines, fruiting plants, and flowering crops. It's particularly effective for SCROG and LST training techniques. For larger branches or easier access, some growers prefer the Grow1 5ft x 5ft Trellis Netting with 6" squares.

Position the netting just above the current canopy height early in the vegetative stage, then raise it as needed or leave it fixed and train plants through the squares as they grow up. For SCROG training, most growers place the net 8–12 inches above the top of the growing medium and begin tucking new growth through the squares as it emerges.
