Wachsen Professional Rolling Bench - 4' Width

The 4' wide rolling bench is available in 12 length configurations ranging from 10 ft up to 84.5 ft: 10–13 ft, 13.5–19.5 ft, 20–26 ft, 26.5–32.5 ft, 33–39 ft, 39.5–45.5 ft, 46–52 ft, 52.5–58.5 ft, 59–65 ft, 65.5–71.5 ft, 72–78 ft, and 78.5–84.5 ft.

While bench runs up to 84.5 ft are available, Wachsen recommends a maximum practical length of 50–60 ft for optimal rolling performance. For runs beyond that range, consult your facility layout before ordering.

The bench is controlled by a hand wheel that rolls the entire tabletop laterally along its base frame. On the 4' wide model, the bench travels 8" to either side of center for a total of 16" of lateral movement — enough to open a full-width aisle on either side of the bench row.

The wheel, connectors, and rolling clips are made from food-grade polypropylene, keeping the mechanism lightweight and corrosion-resistant in humid grow environments.

The Vertical Trellis Only option adds upright support posts to the bench system, providing a framework to tie or train plant branches vertically as they grow. The Complete Trellis Setup includes both vertical supports and horizontal cross members, offering a full overhead canopy support structure for heavier-yielding plants.

Both options integrate directly with the rolling bench frame and use galvanized steel trellis supports. If you are growing dense, heavy-budding varieties, the Complete Trellis Setup is the more robust choice.

The Wachsen rolling bench is designed to be assembled with common hand tools — no specialized equipment or contracted labor is required. Kit A (the base section) typically assembles in about 15 minutes, while Kit B takes approximately 30 minutes.

Yes — the lockable nylon fiber feet provide up to 2" of height adjustment, allowing you to level the bench precisely on uneven floors or dial in the ideal irrigation slope. Wachsen recommends a pitch of 1/4" per 50 ft for gravity-fed drainage when using modular ABS trays and a Wachsen Flood Valve w/ Fast Drain Port.

Height reduction beyond the foot adjustment range is possible but requires skilled labor to modify the frame structure — it is not a field modification intended for standard operation.

The Wachsen Rolling Bench is rated at 20 lbs per square foot. For a 4' x 13 ft bench, that translates to a total distributed load capacity of approximately 1,040 lbs — well within range for most potted plant or tray-based cultivation setups.

Always distribute weight evenly across the bench surface and avoid point-loading on a single section, particularly on longer runs near the upper end of available length configurations.

Yes — all contact-surface components including the control wheel, connectors, and rolling clips are made from food-grade polypropylene. The bench is explicitly rated as food grade by Wachsen and is suitable for use in licensed cultivation facilities growing both cannabis and other edible crops.
