THROUGH THE Cultivator's LENS Highlights

  • You are training branches into an even canopy because a plant left to grow straight up shades out everything below and wastes yield
  • You are setting up a compact grow box because you want light to penetrate deeper and help lower bud sites develop fully

  • The net uses durable 0.1 percent polyester thread in a square mesh that stays open for easy pruning, tucking, and harvesting
  • Elastic rubber brims let the net stretch for a taut fit while you raise or lower it as your plants grow
  • The trellis net trains branches outward into a flat, even canopy using the Screen of Green method

  • Growers who use this netting in compact boxes say they finally stopped seeing uneven buds from top colas shading lower growth
  • Users note that washing and folding the net flat between runs makes storage simple and keeps it ready for the next cycle

Vivosun VGrow 1' x 1' Trellis Net - 2" Mesh Square

In a compact grow box, a plant left to grow straight up puts its top colas close to the light and shades out everything below. The result is uneven buds and wasted yield. The Vivosun YieldNet Trellis Net is sized specifically for the VGrow Smart Grow Box to fix that. It trains branches outward into a flat, even canopy using the Screen of Green (ScrOG) method, which Vivosun reports can boost yields by up to 30%. Light penetrates deeper, lower bud sites develop fully, and every inch of the box does its job.

The net uses durable 0.1" polyester thread in a 2" × 2" square mesh, open enough for easy pruning, tucking, and harvesting. Elastic rubber brims let it stretch from 1.1 × 1.1 ft to 1.2 × 1.2 ft for a taut fit. Stretch each corner to a hook, then raise or lower it as your plants grow. For a clean, tool-free setup, pair it with Vivosun QuickHolds Add-On Base & Magnetic Hooks (sold separately). When the run is done, wash it, fold it flat, and reuse it next grow. It works just as well for supporting cherry tomatoes and other climbing plants.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ScrOG method? +

Screen of Green (ScrOG) uses a horizontal net to train branches outward instead of straight up. As plants grow through the mesh, you tuck branches sideways to create a flat, even canopy, so light reaches more bud sites and yield potential increases.

How do I install the trellis net in my VGrow? +

Stretch each corner of the net to a hook inside the VGrow Smart Grow Box. The elastic brims keep the net taut. For a tool-free setup, use Vivosun QuickHolds Add-On Base & Magnetic Hooks, which snap onto the VGrow support poles.

Are hooks included? +

No. The YieldNet includes the trellis net only. Vivosun QuickHolds Add-On Base & Magnetic Hooks are sold separately and are designed to pair with this net in the VGrow.

Can I adjust the net height as plants grow? +

Yes. Reposition the hooks to raise or lower the net and accommodate different plants and growth stages. The 2" × 2" mesh leaves plenty of room to tuck branches as they grow through.

What plants can I use it with? +

The YieldNet is ideal for ScrOG canopy training and for supporting cherry tomatoes and other climbing plants. The durable thread supports stalks, leaves, flowers, and fruit.

Can I reuse the trellis net? +

Yes. The net is washable and reusable. After harvest, remove plant material, wash it, and fold it flat for compact storage until your next grow.
