System Setup Steps:

1. Prepare Pots

Attach the necessary fittings to the pots.

2. Connect the System

Use piping to connect the pots and the header pot to establish the recirculating network.

3. Install Air System

Set up the air pump and connect it to the air stones in the pots.

4. Integrate Pumps

Install the water pump(s) for recirculation and chilling (if applicable).

5. Set Up Nutrient Tank

Connect the nutrient tank to the system.

6. Fill the System

Add water to the system.

Maintenance Tips:

  • Maintain a 50-75cm center distance between each pot.
  • Alien Hydroponics recommends a watering frequency of one minute every hour.

No, the nutrient reservoir (tank) is not included with the kit and must be purchased separately. This allows you to choose a tank size that best fits your space and growing needs. We recommend a tank with a minimum capacity of 30 gallons (120 liters).

The system prevents root rot in several ways. The 'rain' effect washes away excess mineral salts, the sloped base and raised drainage grid ensure rapid and efficient draining to prevent waterlogging, and the Dual-Flow™ fittings maintain a healthy, free-flowing environment.
