- You are scaling up your irrigation because hand-watering individual pots in a large room takes too much of your time
- You are choosing a top-feed system because you need uniform nutrient delivery without the risks of stagnant water
- The glue-free, snap-on design lets you assemble the system quickly and makes reconfiguring your layout easy later on.
- Copper-plated drain covers stop roots from entering your lines, which keeps the network running without clogs.
- Growers who switched to this system say they stopped finding clogged lines because the copper drain covers keep roots out
- Users who transitioned to this top-feed setup report that their plants look more uniform since the nutrients reach every root zone
Alien Hydroponics RAIN System - 21 Pot 3 Row Kit
Achieving uniform nutrient distribution in a high-capacity grow is no easy feat. The Alien Hydroponics RAIN System - 21 Pot 3 Row Kit solves this by mimicking natural rainfall, delivering oxygen-rich nutrients directly to each plant's root zone. This unique top-feed approach ensures that every plant in your setup receives a consistent, oxygenated feed, effectively eliminating stagnant water and nutrient imbalances.
Whether you are managing a large-scale facility or a professional private grow, this system is built for performance and scalability. For those requiring even more coverage, the RAIN system can be expanded to a 36 Pot 4 Row Kit. If you prefer a deep water culture approach instead of top-feeding, consider the Alien Hydroponics RDWC 28 Pot 4 Row system. Designed for versatility, the RAIN kit works with various growing mediums while preventing root rot and salt buildup. Its glue-free, snap-on design means you can spend less time on assembly and more time on your harvest. For slightly larger setups within the same footprint, explore the 24 Pot 3 Row Kit.
Please note: This system requires a nutrient reservoir to operate. A tank is not included with the kit. We highly recommend the compatible Alien GardenTank 70 Gallon reservoir to complete your setup.

FAQs
Does this kit include a nutrient reservoir?
No, the reservoir is sold separately. For this 21-pot system, we recommend a minimum capacity of 145 gallons (550 liters) to ensure adequate nutrient supply.
What growing mediums are compatible with the RAIN system?
The RAIN system is highly versatile and works exceptionally well with soil, coco coir, or clay pebbles. Its design ensures uniform saturation and prevents nutrient lockout across all media types.
What is the recommended watering frequency?
Alien Hydroponics suggests a watering frequency of approximately one minute every hour. This mimics natural rainfall patterns and maintains high oxygen levels in the root zone.
Is the system difficult to assemble?
No. The system features a glue-free, snap-on design with threaded fittings and easy-to-use pipe cutters, making assembly straightforward for both beginners and professionals.
Can I expand this system later?
Yes, the modular design of Alien Hydroponics systems allow you to scale up to 36 pots or reconfigure your layout as your grow space needs evolve.
