Yes. The Low Rise Tray is specifically designed for both top feed drip and ebb and flow irrigation systems. The 4" wall height provides adequate flood depth for ebb and flow cycles, and the customizable drain location lets you position the outlet to match your existing plumbing rather than modifying your system to accommodate a fixed drain point.

The tray includes pre-marked drain knock-out points that can be opened at your preferred location. Select the position that aligns with your bench plumbing layout, open the knock-out using an Active Aqua step drill bit to the appropriate drain fitting diameter, and install your drain fitting. The 2' × 8' is half the width of the 4' × 8' at the same length — suited for narrower bench configurations, single-row plant layouts, and multi-tier vertical racking where a full 4' wide tray would exceed available bench width. Both share the same 4" wall height and construction quality. For operations running both wide and narrow benches, the consistent tray family means the same cleaning, maintenance, and irrigation procedures apply across all sizes.

The 4" wall height accommodates standard pot sizes up to approximately 3–4" tall sitting on the tray floor, with enough clearance for root zone containment and irrigation flood depth. The tray is compatible with all growing styles including soil, coco coir, rockwool, and hydroponic media — the HIPS material is chemically inert and won't react with nutrient solutions stored in an Active Aqua 2.0 reservoir, pH-adjusted water, or standard growing substrates.

Flush with water to remove loose debris, then apply a diluted hydrogen peroxide or enzymatic cleaner and scrub with a soft brush to remove salt deposits and biofilm from the floor pattern and walls. The easy clean internal pattern is designed to prevent residue from accumulating in hard-to-reach areas, and the smooth HIPS surface releases most buildup with minimal scrubbing. Rinse thoroughly before returning to service.
