FAQs
What is this bag set used for?
This bag set is designed specifically for collecting dry sift (kief) with the NugSmasher NS Sifter. The different micron sizes allow you to separate and grade your trichomes by size for maximum purity.
What is the difference between the micron sizes?
The micron number refers to the size of the holes in the mesh. A lower number means smaller holes. Generally, the 160 micron bag is for initial sifting, 120 micron refines it further, and the 90 micron bag collects the finest, highest-quality trichome heads while filtering out contaminants.
Are these bags reusable?
Yes, absolutely. These NugSmasher bags are made from durable nylon and are designed to be cleaned and reused many times. Proper care will ensure a long lifespan.
How do I get the best results with these bags?
For optimal results, use high-quality, well-cured starting material. It's also beneficial to work in a cold environment to help the trichomes separate more easily. For a complete overview of the process, check out our guide on everything you need to know about dry sift.
Will these bags work with other sifter machines?
These bags are specifically designed and sized for the NugSmasher NS Sifter. While they may fit other machines, we can only guarantee perfect compatibility and performance with the intended NugSmasher accessory line.
