Who This Is For
- You are moving to a 14g bag because your current 7g setups require too many individual presses to process a harvest.
- You are switching to double-stitched filters because your standard bags keep blowing out under high pressure.
What We Found
- The double-stitched seams are noticeably tougher than cheap imports, which is why we rarely see them blow out.
- These bags are cut specifically for Bottle-Tech loading, making it easier to get a consistent vertical smash.
What Users Say
- Users who switched to these bags say they stopped finding plant particles in their final extraction.
- People who press at high pressures report they can finally push their plates without worrying about a seam burst.

Micron Sizing Guide

Micron size is key to a successful extraction. A finer screen (lower micron number) is better for drier material, while a more porous screen (higher micron number) works well for fresher flower. For flower, we recommend starting with 160 microns and moving to a 90-micron bag as the material cures and dries. This ensures you capture the maximum amount of rosin without unwanted plant material.
FAQs
Bottle-Tech Style involves packing the bag so it stands upright on the press plates, resembling a bottle or barrel. This technique concentrates the material into a cylindrical puck, which helps distribute pressure more evenly and can significantly increase your yields by maximizing the extraction surface area.
While not strictly necessary, using a pre-press mold is highly recommended. A mold compacts your starting material into a dense, uniformly shaped puck that fits perfectly inside the bag. This eliminates air pockets and ensures even heat and pressure distribution, leading to better yields and consistency. A compatible 14g Square Pre-Press Mold is the perfect companion for these bags.
These bags are designed to work with any of NugSmasher's powerful presses. For 14-gram quantities, a press with 4-inch plates or larger, like the NugSmasher Touch or the NugSmasher IQ Pro, will provide ample space and pressure to achieve excellent results.
Choosing the right micron size depends on your starting material. Generally, use larger microns (120-160µ) for fresh, sticky flower and smaller microns (37-90µ) for kief, hash, or drier flower.
